Hello Friends!
Dispatch to Discipleship didn’t begin as a brand idea—it began as a burden God placed on my heart through real life on the front lines. I’ve been a first responder for over 20 years, and the word “dispatch” isn’t just a phrase to me. It’s that moment the tones drop, the call comes in, and everything shifts—because someone’s worst day is happening and you’re needed right now.
Over the years, I’ve seen the honor of serving others, and I’ve also felt the weight that first responders carry—things we see, decisions we make, trauma we absorb, and the pressure to “move on” and be ready for the next call. Sometimes the heaviest part isn’t what happens on scene—it’s what follows us home.
Origin
In that tension, God began pressing a deeper question into my heart:
What if the urgency I live with on duty is the kind of urgency God is calling me to live with spiritually?
That’s when the name became clear: Dispatch to Discipleship.
It carries two truths:
-
From dispatch to discipleship: supporting first responders and their families as they move from the calls they respond to on duty into the lifelong calling of following Jesus and making disciples.
-
God has dispatched His people: every believer is commissioned—sent by God—to live on mission and make disciples in everyday life.
Mission
While our core focus is first responders, Dispatch to Discipleship also exists to serve the broader community through outreach, devotionals, discipleship, missions support, and generosity that fuels ministry work. We believe the Church should care for those who care for others—and we believe Jesus meets people right where they are with truth, grace, and purpose.
Key Verse — Matthew 28:19–20 (NKJV)
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”
Our Mission Statement:
To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ—encouraging and equipping first responders and everyday people through Scripture-rich devotionals, prayer, outreach, and missions support—so lives are transformed and believers are sent to make disciples in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
