February 2026 Study

❤️ Week 1 · Day 3

Love Is Rooted in Truth

Scripture: John 14:6 (NKJV)

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’”

Love without truth becomes shallow sentiment. Truth without love becomes harsh and damaging. God never separates the two—and neither did Jesus. He did not soften truth to appear more loving; He embodied both perfectly.

Biblical love speaks truth because truth leads to life. Remaining silent in the face of sin is not loving, and affirming what God calls destructive is not love either. True love cares enough to guide, correct, and point others toward what is right—even when it is uncomfortable.

As followers of Christ, we are called to love with courage and compassion, holding firmly to truth while extending grace. Love that reflects Jesus never compromises truth, and truth spoken in love always seeks restoration.

Reflection:

Do I value peace over truth in the name of “love”?

Prayer:

“Jesus, teach me to love like You—full of grace and grounded in truth.”
