Day 9 of 31 — John 9
Scripture (John 9:25, NKJV)
“One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
John 9 is a reminder that Jesus doesn’t just fix problems—He opens eyes.
The man in this chapter doesn’t have every answer. He can’t explain every detail. But he has a testimony that can’t be argued away:
“One thing I know…”
That’s faith in its simplest form. When you’re pressured, questioned, or doubted—don’t feel like you have to win every debate. You just hold on to what Jesus has done in you. The real miracle isn’t only sight in the eyes… it’s sight in the soul.
Some days, the clearest prayer you can pray is:
“Jesus, help me see.”
See what’s true. See what matters. See the next step. See You clearly, even when life is loud.
Today, you may not have every answer—but you can still say:
“One thing I know… Jesus is changing me.”
Practical application
• Write your “one thing I know” statement: What has Jesus already done in your life?
• Ask God for clarity in one area you’ve been stuck in.
• Encourage someone today with your testimony—simple and honest.
Jesus, open my eyes. Where I’ve been confused, give me clarity. Where I’ve been fearful, give me faith. Where I’ve been distracted, bring me back to You. Thank You that I can stand on what I know—You have met me, changed me, and You’re still working in me. Amen.
