Nightly Devotional — Proverbs (Day 9 of 31) Scripture (NKJV) Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9 paints a picture of two invitations. One is wisdom—steady, holy, life-giving. The other is foolishness—loud, enticing, and empty. Both call out. Both offer a “seat.” But only one table leads to life. Tonight’s verse tells us where wisdom truly begins: the fear of the Lord—a reverent awe tha
