Day 17 of 31 — John 17 Scripture (John 17:17, NKJV) “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. “ John 17 is one of the most intimate chapters in the Gospel—Jesus praying for His disciples… and for us. And at the center of that prayer is this: God’s people must be set apart by God’s truth. “Sanctify” means to set apart, to make holy, to mark something for God’s purpose. That doesn’t happen by willpower alone. Jesus points to the real tool God uses to shape us: His Word.
